I have a problem with my start menu, it has a reaction speed=0 i have never set this value under my current OS install and have tried on many occasions to set it back to 400ms however on reboot it always reverts back to 0 again.
 
It happened on my last installation also (however i had set it to zero at one point and thought it had somehow got stuck at that). I cannot think which application i have installed that could be doing this and ininstalling all my apps, setting speed to 400ms then reinstalling seems an extreme step to take..
 
Anyone had a similar problem?
 
as a method of troubleshooting does anyone know of an application that can log all registry writes from startup? or know how i can set my reg logger as the FIRST thing to load so i can find the culprit of my problem?
