startup programs (systray?) loads slow
I dont know the english word for the startup items loading in the systray ? (volume, graphicscard icon etc etc) Upon starup, everything goes very fast, until the systray is suppose to load, then the system halts for about 10 seconds before the icons appear.

Why is this happening? I know someone blamed the SBLive icon (AudioHQ), but removing that doesnt change anything for me.
Can someone help me solve this?
thanks for any info

It's the SBLive drivers.
I been testing this with a friends computer.
Fresh installs up to sound card drivers.
I installed full LiveWare 3 and he installed just the Live drivers.
The boot time is the same for both.
Thus I believe it is the drivers rather than LiveWare of its related applications.

Felix is right...
The problem is SBLive drivers. I had SBLive drivers only (i hate Creative's Liveware garbageware) and i had many problems also. My computer P1000+256+SCSI160 need almost 90 seconds to boot up. It also had major power management problem as it wasn't possible to wake up after standby mode etc.
I reinstalled Windows 2000 but i kept only the included "BASE" WDM drivers and not even a bit from liveware. Everything works fine now an most other minor problems disappeared.
PS: I had similar problems using earlier Liveware 2.0
