Stop error after symantec clean
This is a discussion about Stop error after symantec clean in the Windows Software category; I recieved my first virus and loaded Symantec business to help isolate and clean it. It seemed to have worked but then I restarted and got: Stop: c000026c unable to load device driver. \systemroot\system32\drivers\symredrv.
I recieved my first virus and loaded Symantec business to help isolate and clean it. It seemed to have worked but then I restarted and got:
Stop: c000026c unable to load device driver. \systemroot\system32\drivers\symredrv.sys device driver could not load
I downloaded the newest version of this driver, copied to my system and now I have:
Stop: c0000262 driver entry point not found \systemroot\system32\drivers\symedrv.sys device driver count not locate the ordinal 27 in driver symtdi.sys
I have tried to uninstall Symantec in safe mode but windows installer is not availible to perform the task
