I've got a strange problem with an IPsec based VPN tunnel. In one end the tunnel is terminated in a Zywall 10 which has a NT4 network behind it. The remote end of the tunnel is terminated in a Zywall 1 which has a single WinXP Pro client.

I can ping through the tunnel in both direction, and I can connect The WinXP PC Lotus Notes client to the Lotus Server on the NT4 network.

BUT - I'm completely unable to view any shares on the NT4 network from the Remote WinXP client. It works just fine the other way - as in I'm able to view shares on the WinXP client from PC's on the NT4 network..

Unfortunately I need to make shares on the NT4 network reachable from the remote WinXP client - any ideas on what is wrong ????

I should mention That the Zywall 10 is not the default gateway on the NT4 network - but I've added a static route to the server that needs to be reachable.
