Hi,
I have troubles running Streets.exe, the main executor for Streets of Simcity. If fact, I can't run it at all!
Windows keeps popping the Program Error window. I checked at the Dr Watson log :
Application exception occurred:
App: (pid=316 Streets.exe)
When: 5/22/2005 @ 18:39:50.081
Exception number: c0000096 (privileged instruction)
Here is my hardware :
Compaq Deskpro
Pentium II 400 MHz
128 Meg Ram
ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X video card
Software :
Microsoft Windows 2000 Pro 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4
Maxis Streets of SimCity 1.0
My thoughts are that there is a conflict between assigned and requested IRQs.
I tried backing up the «Autoexec.nt» file but it did not work. I tried using the No CD crack also, but no effect.
I know some buddies had the same troubles (App exception-privileged instruction) while trying to run Interstate 76 and Nascar 4.
Can anybody help???
Many thanks in advance!
Félix
