Suggested LAN Card Settings
This is a discussion about Suggested LAN Card Settings in the Windows Hardware category; I have a 3com XL 3C905B Network card, and was wondering what the optimal settings are for it? I am on a college lan (10 MBPS). Also, anyone know if 3com plans on releasing new/official drivers for this card and win2k? Thanks for the help guys BoDEAN.

Optimal setting for a card depend on the underlying nature of the network you're on. Talk to your sys- and/or netadmins.
3Com have said nothing about drivers.

HEy JBoDEAN,
I was getting some very poor performance from my 3com. I use the 3C905B-TX. What i did was disable the Rx and Tx Checksum Off load.. My performance improved greatly..
Dont know if this will help you.. But give it a shot and let us know!
