system maintenance is pain in the neck
This is a discussion about system maintenance is pain in the neck in the Windows Hardware category; Hi I do system maintenance every week, but I get tired of doing it. Its too much of a work. And its not like everything can be done in one sitting. Ok, I am talking about windows update, virus defs update, scandisk, defrag, cleanup etc etc.

I do system maintenance every week, but I get tired of doing it.
Its too much of a work. And its not like everything can be done in one sitting. Ok, I am talking about windows update, virus defs update, scandisk, defrag, cleanup etc etc... It needs proper planning and scheduling at right intervals. Do you guys feel the same ? Anybody has other alternative to this ?

try scheduling it windows updates can be schedualed and not sure but your virus can be schedualed as well, oo yeah you defrag I know that can be schedualed too, if I wore you I would schedual things to do over night then in the mourning see if it worked.
