system restore link and help not working
This is a discussion about system restore link and help not working in the Windows Software category; Hi - I had a problem with adware corrupting my registry. This caused a problem with my system restore app displaying a blank screen. I was able to repair the problem with the blank screen but now the system Restore Settings link as well as the help buttons do nothing when selected.
Hi - I had a problem with adware corrupting my registry. This caused a problem with my system restore app displaying a blank screen. I was able to repair the problem with the blank screen but now the system Restore Settings link as well as the help buttons do nothing when selected. I know the System Rstore Settings work since I am able to access them via control panel. Does anyone have thoughts on how I can repair this issue? I have not attempted to execute system restore since but I was able to create a new restore point.
