System shock 1 in Win2k

This is a discussion about System shock 1 in Win2k in the Windows Games category; Anyone had luck with this? I downloadd it from OldGames. com and it's supposd to be the full, complete thing. OK, when I start, I get the intro without sound (even with VSDM), start menu and then it starts complaining for not having enough memory and whatnot.

So, either the game isn't complete after all (it should: it's abandonware and the site is credible) or then it just won't run in NT. Any help would be appreciated
