System Shock 1 - SVGA version

This is a discussion about System Shock 1 - SVGA version in the Windows Games category; Has anyone been able to get the SVGA version of System Shock 1 to run. I can run the VGA version fine (although I cannot seem to get sound effects with VDMSound), but the SVGA version always complains about getting access to one of the Serial ports.

Almost forgot: This is in Windows 2000.
