Taskmon corrupted?

A few weeks ago, I tried to install a PS1 emu, and I didn't do it right (obviously) and my taskmanager popped up about 40 times, and my computer locked up.

My problem is this. A few weeks ago, I tried to install a PS1 emu, and I didn't do it right (obviously) and my taskmanager popped up about 40 times, and my computer locked up.
Ever since then the taskmon has not worked properly. It has the main window showing the programs running, the buttons on the bottom, but the Tabs and anything above that will not display.
Any suggestions besides reformatting?
