TCP/IP Filtering help
This is a discussion about TCP/IP Filtering help in the Everything New Technology category; I followed APK's Speedup and security guide. But for some reason when i deny IP protocols besides 6 and 17 i can't get on the internet. As soon as i check allow all it is fine though. . . is there a list of protocols i can try to see what is not making my connection work.

As soon as i check allow all it is fine though... is there a list of protocols i can try to see what is not making my connection work. Im on roadrunner, and everything else is fine.

thanks for the info. It seems not with recent attacks and everything else, that security is a big concern for people, so i would like to get a good handle on it on my own system before i go off into the IT world. Do you have any links or anything where i can read up more on IP security.
