TCP/IP on small lan

This is a discussion about TCP/IP on small lan in the Windows Networking category; i need a walkthru on setting up TCP/IP on a small LAN. i run a dual boot ME/NT4. 0 machine on a small (5 port(3 mach. ) hub with cable connected to the uplink. i can see other machines in the 'hood (NetBeui) but I can't figure out how to properly setup the TCP/IP stack (in NT only ME fine!).
