Temporary Files (help ?)

When you delete stuff from you computer's recycle bin, XP must store it somewhere, because when you do a system restore, you can come back to a point before you even deleted it and it's still in it's original spot.

So, I'm asking, where are these files stored? I accidentally deleted some stuff in a folder that I didn't know was there. I tried system restore to the next earliest spot, but it was before the creation of these files. Is there ANY way to gain these files back via temp directory or anything???

Thanks!

System Restore is only concerned with system files, and will only restore critical files that r needed by the OS. It will not handle any persoanl user files.
