I just downloaded a couple of clipc from Tom's Hardware (My FAV site) and watched them, but one was pretty interesting.

Its about how the over clock a :

Intel Pentium 4
ASUS P4C800-E
MSI GeForce FX 5950 Ultra
Crossair DDR550 Pro Series
Promise S-ATA 150 RAID 0

While cooling it with Liquid Nitrogen

The results are as follows (and its a world record) :

5255 MHz
FSBClock 303 MHz
System Bus 1237 MHz
Memory clock 206 MHz
CPU Core Voltage 1.8V
Heat Sink Temp -196 °C

WOW, if you ask me that is pretty impressive.

That is impressive seeing how 4GHz processors won't be around till end of 2005 and those are dual core variants of CPUs coming out.

Apparenly Intel canned the 4GHz LGA775 P4 processor.

Yeah, from what I understand there was going to be way too much thermal dissapation, more then what the current Prescott Heatsink/Fans can cope with now

My processor is a 3.2gig prescott, and it only gets cooled properly with the original fan I got with it, I bought a "SubZero ZG4" or something like that (I cant remember exactly, I sent it back) and I could not even boot into windows for longer than 5 secs then my PC would shut down due to overheating.

But, I will have my new water-cooling unit on Thursday, I cant wait.

The forum that my brother-in-law is on asked for photos of assembling/installing the watercooling to show everyone on the forum how it is done if they ever need to do it, would you guys like me to post the photos here as well?

So, I had to build everything over into the new box, that means I've got about 35 photos of building up the PC itself and then installing the water-cooling system.

Now, is there any way for me to upload these photos to this site so that it would be possible to post it here?

Regards
Wicked

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, normally my Processor would run constantly at 60°C, just in normal windows and a only gets warmer when playing games (I always play all games at full graphics).
Now, with this simple basic water-cooling My PC runs at 50°C and 52°C when I play games. I can still get it cooler but right now I'm too lazy to do it, I'm still recovering from yesterday.
