Hello, This is my first post on the forum so nice to meet all of you.

I recently purchased the 7th guest and have installed it onto my computer. Here is some basic information.

I am running windows XP.

The version of T7G I purchased was the windows 95/98 version. An update from the original.

I can run the game but the sound and video was slow. I fixed that with lowering accelerations. Everything seemed to be fine but I encountered another problem.

I'll be playing the game and it will shutdown at random times with this message.

Unknown asset type--please restart.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Any help is appreciated.
