Well...I think it is time to replace my Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical. I am looking for a really good optical mouse and I was I wondering what do you guys suggest for a really good optical mouse. I play shooting games 90% of the time. Well...more like Counter-Strike.

I use the MS IntelliMouse Explorer, and I play mostly FPS games as well. It's a great mouse and the two thumb buttons can come in really handy

I got the Optical version on both rigs. They work well, and you'll wonder how you managed with a ball mouse.

You may not want to give up that Intellimouse Optical so fast. The new drivers allow you to program buttons for specific programs. Very nice feature. Granted, this also works with the Explorer, but the Optical doesn't have that annoying second thumb button that seems to constantly get in the way.
