The Sims 2 ati3duag.dll error and crashing
I NEED HELP PLEASE. . . I CANT LOG ON TO WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE FORGOT MY PASSWORD, ITS SAYS PRESS CTRL+ALT+DELETE, THEN IT SAYS TO PUT IN MY PASSWORD TO START WINDOWS. I NEED TO UPGRADE MY LAPTOP TO WINDOWS XP HOME ED.
I keep getting the blue screen of death when I attempt to play The Sims 2 with the University expansion pack. The error says the crash apparently is related to the file ati3duag.dll. I've read up on this online and it seems to be a common problem, but the fixes I've seen are not related to my computer. I have DirectX already installed (the latest version 9), and the latest drivers for my graphics card. It used to crash only when I attempted to exit the game, and I unistalled and reinstalled the game, and it now crashes at various times. Computer info is as follows:

Hi Karen,
The problem is your graphics card. Go to this website and download the dll and run it. Hopefully that will fix the problem for you. http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/A/ati3duag.dll/6.14.10.0231/download.html
