This is a discussion about The Sims: Unleased in the Windows Games category; I just boguht a computer and tried to install The Sims and all its expansion pack even the nex Unleasehed one. It will not finish loading them. Could someone tell me how to fix this problem so I can get the game to work.

Details please. What is happening? How big is the computer?

I would be able to load all the previous versions of the game, but once I install The Sims:Unleashed it says that it can't find the Original. It finds it when it first starts, but it want finish loading it at the end. It never fully installs itself. I have a Hewlett Packard running Windows 2000 Professional. When I called the support line it said I might need the NT supported Direct X. Thank you for your help.
did u buy all the sims games, are any of the illegal?
i know i got em all downloaded (later bought them, got sick of them gave em to ma sister)
and often that was the case due to cracked exe and such.
try a fresh install of just The Sims, then put in Unleashed see if that works.....
could be the order you are installing them in....
