Third Party Drivers For Sidewinder Series

This is a discussion about Third Party Drivers For Sidewinder Series in the Windows Hardware category; I bought a Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro a couple years ago and I have not been able to find a program that can make/use profiles or schemes for XP. I need this option so I can make use of the shift button that basiclly doubles the amount of buttons it has.

I bought a Microsoft SideWinder Precision Pro a couple years ago and I have not been able to find a program that can make/use profiles or schemes for XP. I need this option so I can make use of the "shift" button that basiclly doubles the amount of buttons it has. I'm fairly certain there is no Microsoft program that can make use of the shift in XP, but are there any 3rd party programs/drivers that may work? Thx fer yer help.

Go into the control panel of XP, select game controlers, then click the "Add" button, select microsoft sidewinder (auto find). This worked for me and I have Windows XP Professional retail version.
