This is a discussion about THPS2 in the Windows Games category; Anyone know if it supposed to be possible to run Tony Hawk Pro skater 2 under win2k? I tried to do it but didn't succeed. . a friend of mine tried the same CD under win98 and it worked fine. Is there any tricks how to get it to work.

I am running THPS2 just fine on win2k without that modified .exe.
I am running:
SP1
192MB RAM
16MB TNT1 (6.34 Ref Drivers)
I was having problems with it crashing just when I got into the game. I tried everything, then I disabled the screensaver. The crashes stopped. Maybe this will work for you...
Now my only problem is getting past NYC.

i can run the game fine without the patch
