When those "memory cannot be read" errors appear on my screen it's time for a format and a clean install It gets very annoying when this happens. Plus I get a NTkernel error when I install new hardware. I have no idea why NT is soo damn picky on new hardware. But ooooh the stability. I have never got BSOD yet, unlike 9X which was a very common occurence during the day I have ECC ram from crucial (512 to be exact). I asked them about it and they told me that a fresh install usually fixes it. Files do become corrupt overtime. No suchthing as an error free OS But Windows 2000 is pretty close to it. Try a clean install with your new hardware. Remember install the OS than update immediately to SP1. Make sure everything is updated before installing new drivers for your hardware.
