TombRaider under Win 2000?

This is a discussion about TombRaider under Win 2000? in the Windows Games category; Tried installing TombRaider I, instant crash. Win 2000, Micron 1. 2GHz, 256RAM, Nvidia GeForce2 GTS. I think I need DOS drivers or something. Anybody have hints? Thanks. .

IIRC, TR1 needs Vesa which 2K does not provide.
 
Only way your gonna get it to work is:
 
1. Load it up in DOS/9x.
2. Use Connectix Virtual PC (A PC emulator...a VERY good PC emulator). It might work under that but since I lost the game a while back I can't say.

Thanks for the tip. Connectix Virtual PC is kinda pricey, I see ($200). Think Tomb would run under the DOS OS it comes with? (Win98 is another $150.)
