TRouble trying to network pc's
This is a discussion about TRouble trying to network pc's in the Windows Networking category; HELP ME!. . im following the instructions on and after i try to enable the internet connection sharing for this connection i get prompted that CANNOT ENABLE SHARED ACCESS. ERROR 783 INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING CANNOT BE ENABLED.
HELP ME!.. im following the instructions on http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_2000#1.. and after i try to enable the internet connection sharing for this connection i get prompted that CANNOT ENABLE SHARED ACCESS . ERROR 783 INTERNET CONNECTION SHARING CANNOT BE ENABLED. THE LAN CONNECTION SELECTED AS THE PRIVATE NETWORK IS EITHER NO PRESENT OR IS DISSCONNECTED FROM THE NETWORK. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE LAN ADAPATER IS CONNECTED BEFORE ENABLING ICS.
Im trying to utilize bellsouth dsl service.. which unfortunately is a usb connection and does not use a nic card..can anyone enlighten me to as why i cant get this computer to share its ics

windows internet connection sharing sux the big one... get a program called winroute...(30 day trial) www.astalavista.box.sk it, and set it up to share the net... great program, just disable the proxy server, it gets annoying...
