Trouble with Septerra Core in w2k sp4
This is a discussion about Trouble with Septerra Core in w2k sp4 in the Windows Games category; I'm having two problems with Septerra Core in Win2k SP4. 1) Even after applying the 1. 02 patch the sound will still occasionaly stick like a scratched record and loop 2-3 times before continuing. 2) The more serious problem is that the game now crashes at the same point every time.

1) Even after applying the 1.02 patch the sound will still occasionaly stick like a scratched record and loop 2-3 times before continuing.
2) The more serious problem is that the game now crashes at the same point every time. I just got Led in the party and whenever I use her to attack everything goes fine until she jumps back into position after attacking. At that same moment everytime the game suddenly crashes.
This is really irritating since I've got so much time invested in this game and really want to know how it turns out.
I've checked Valkyrie's website and they just suggest applying the 1.02 patch and using MicroSoft's Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT). I've applied the patch and can't find ACT for win2k.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
