Trust 2 port USB 2.0 PCI card and W2K = NOT working

So, I decided to get USB-ports for my old computer so I could use a digital camera with it. I got this PCI-card which should provide USB-ports for me. But it doesn't work. Or actually the drivers doesn't.

So, I decided to get USB-ports for my old computer so I could use a digital camera with it. I got this PCI-card which should provide USB-ports for me. But it doesn't work. Or actually the drivers doesn't. If I don't install the VIA host usb enhance thingie, just the other stuff, it works but very slowly. It takes ages to transfer images from camera.
So I would have to install that thing of the card too, but I can't! If I do it, computer freezes immediately and if I boot the computer freezes as soon as it installs the drivers in the startup. ;( I have tried drivers which come with the card, and Microsoft's own drivers and also some weird ALi drivers.
Is there anyone who has dealt with same problem and has come up with a solution? I would be very pleased if someone could solve this problem.

Edit: Could this freezing be a BIOS problem? Could up[censored] my BIOS help? I haven't done that before but I have instructions so I should manage doing it but I wouldn't want to do that (because of the risk) if it won't have any effect.

Edit2: Yep yep, updated my BIOS and works fine.

USB 2 cards generally require that the drivers are installed first, shut down and then install the card. When you boot up, Windows should find the card and install the drivers.

If you have followed above procedure and still have problems, then I would wait for someone else to come along with a possible solution.
