I d/led quite a lot of stuff - clothes, objects etc almost all from Sims Resource and everything was fine
I then didn't play for about a week as I was too busy but I did d/l a few things from TSR again
When I went to play the game again all I got was the logo for a few seconds Then a MS error message
The Sims 2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I am tearing my hair out
I have uninstalled Daemon and done everything else I can think of
I still have 2 'ghost' DVD/CD drives appearing that I cannot seem to get rid of
ANY help at all will be greatly appreciated
The one thing I have noticed is that there are still 2 'ghost' cd drives showing and I cannot seem to get rid of them
