this is getting very annoying. i dont know if this is a virus or anything but whenever i try to type anything the words like "can can" appear any where the inputing of text is concerned (URLs, Word).
i think it might be due to voice recognition software, i recently installed it in office xp, but turned it off (unticked it in Word XP > Tools) but words still appear out of nowhere- even if i unplugged the mic.

Have you tried muting the mic input as well? The software might be interpreting the random noise on the input as spoken words...
