Hi there,
I am running Win2k3 Enterprise Server on one of my machines and have encountered a bit of a problem. I can not find a working driver for the sound card I have installed in this machine. I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card. I have tried both the NT 4.0 and the Windows 2000/XP drivers and neither have worked. I was hoping that someone here might be able to help me out in correcting this error of mine.
Thanks a million,
Michael

Have you started the Windows Audio service? It is disabled by default, and if I recall correctly, drivers will not install while it is disabled. (It's been a while since I installed Windows Server '03 on a machine with a sound card.)

Wow,
Thanks a lot! I never would have figured that out. For those who want audio in Win2k3 in the future just type in "Windows Audio Service" in the "Help and Search" function and it will show you how to turn on audio support.
