Ultima Online
Does anyone have ANY problems with Ultima Online: The Second Age under Win2k? I installed it here, but when it is going to run the game, it returns to windows. . . Of corse, I HAVE NOT done any updates yet.

Hi,
I've only had one problem with UO under Win2000.
If failed to get one of the required updates, kept of failing.
In the end I just had to delete the uodate folder and all then went fine.
Game runs without any glitches or problems at all.
It runs better under Win2000 than it ever did under Win98.
Win2000 seems to be able to better cope with the terrible Memory Leaks UO has.
Even after a mass 5 hour session it's still running fine.

i get an annoying crackling sound now. it just started, but i dont think it's uo's fault. i also started getting a similar sound in ut, and in quake 3 a while back. i have reinstalled the drivers several times but i still get the noise. i cant wait until liveware 3....hopefully that will clear some of this up, if not i will probably just reformat and dual boot. i'm getting tired of dealing with all of these crap drivers.
