A Promise Ultra66 IDE Controller should do the trick.

I too have a similar motherboard and problem. I ended up buying the Promise Ultra66 IDE Controller and it has worked flawlessly with both Win2k and Win98. I would highly recommend it!! ; )

You pay for quality, and I have had no trouble what so ever with my Promise Card.
