unable to map drive
This is a discussion about unable to map drive in the Everything New Technology category; hi, when i tried to connect to a share folder on a windows 2000 system using \\computername\sharename, it says The reference account is currently locked out and cannot be logged on to. i am able to ping the computername anyone where could be wrong? thanks.

Sounds like the account you are using to login to the shared machine has been locked due to too many failed login attempts. You will need to login to the shared machine with administrator rights and unlock the account.
