uninstall DirectX 8

This is a discussion about uninstall DirectX 8 in the Customization Tweaking category; I read that there is a utility to uninstall the beta DirectX 8 at I did not install DirectX 8 myself so I cannot comment on functionality. .

I read that there is a utility to uninstall the beta DirectX 8 at http://www.dvd-digest.net/downloads/files/dxuninstaller10.zip
I did not install DirectX 8 myself so I cannot comment on functionality.

Now why would you need a utility.....there's a file in the Winnt\system32 folder called somewhere to the likes for undx8eng.exe which will unistall dx8.
