Unreal Tournament/Glide Problem
This is a discussion about Unreal Tournament/Glide Problem in the Windows Games category; I've tried several of the XP drivers for my Voodoo 3 3000. When I try to boot up Unreal Tournament, I keep getting a critical error message - General Protection Fault. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas?.

There's custom made 3dfx drivers for voodoo 3-5 on this site (ntcompatible.com). I had the same problem and someone here told me to update the drivers with the ones on ntcompatible.com cuz they work with XP.. and it solved my problem. I just bought and ATI Radeon 8500 last night, so I put my Voodoo 3 3000 to rest. Anyways, downloading those custom drivers should solve your problem. I know it did for me. Enjoy.

Go there.. you want to download the "Voodoo3/4/5" drivers.. its slightly over 1 MB. Lemme know if it works.

I've followed the instructions yet still no dice when I run Unreal Tournament. When I try Glide, I get the general protection fault. When I try Open GL, I get sound but no video.
