This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Legacy OS category; marquee text I accidentally reinstalled XP again and now have it twice on the computer. When starting up I have to select the correct partition I would really like to remove the second installation but am not sure how to and also how to locate it to remove it.

Just delete the D:\Windows (assuming thats where the 2nd install is) folder and then update Boot.ini to remove the entry from menu on startup (use MSCONFIG, Check all Boot paths).
