Well this is too strange! As I am a left hand user (only for the PC) I generally use in almost games I play the directional keys for main movements instead of default w,a,s,d. All the keys following will show as 'Shift' key instead their real name: Print screen,Insert,Home,Page up,Delete,End,Page down and the four directional keys up, down, left, right. All of them are also located in a group betwen the main alphabetic part and the numpad section. Also this strange fenomen has also showed up in some other games but not in every game.So if I had already played fine the game before in a certain moment you will find that you surprisily are not able to bind any of the keys mentioned above. You can press all of them one by one but the field in game keyboard options will show only "shift".It's like a DVD with many links to the same chapter. As I said this had happened also with other games in certain moments not always and I feel tahat something is wrong.Other games affected: Serious Sam First Encounter, Half Life 1,HL2, Blue Shift, Opposing Forces, Thief. In Thief and Thief 2 if any key you press in bind key will show up like this:UP will display UP+shift.almost any single key will show as "key+shift" What I did was: changing the keyboard. Reformating and reinstalling again the WinXp Pro with SP1. Nothing changed.I really do not know what to do.Does anyone had passed this before?
Main Hardware config: Asus P4C800, Intel PIV-2.0Ghz, 768 mb of Ram PC3200, Ati all in wonder Radeon(7200)
