This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Windows Networking category; I have been installing updates for XP on a Dell Dimension 4100. Now that I have completed the latest express updates I can no longer access the internet. My LAN settings are all correct. Is there a paticular update that caused this on the 4100? Should I just go back to Win 2000?.

Do you have any third party firewalls running?
If so uninstall (or dissable) them.
SP2 comes with a firewall (which seems to conflict with any other).
