This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Windows Hardware category; Ok the situation is this. I have a Celeron 2. 4, with one gig of PC2100, 9800 Pro 128 meg 8x, and can not seem to get good gaming frame rates at all. In Half-Life I get 30fps and can not understand my problem.
Ok the situation is this. I have a Celeron 2.4, with one gig of PC2100, 9800 Pro 128 meg 8x, and can not seem to get good gaming frame rates at all.
In Half-Life I get 30fps and can not understand my problem. I know the celeron is my bottleneck right now but it can not be that bad?
Also I have two 512 PC2100 chips but it still runs in single channel. Why can't i run dual?
