Untitled thread

This is a discussion about Untitled thread in the Windows Security category; Okay get ready. . . I accadently set an security level on my External NTFS HDD with all my files. Now i dont have access anymore to it. I have tried: reboot login as admin. connect it to a other pc. tools from the i-net.

Okay get ready...
 
I accadently set an security level on my External NTFS HDD with all my files.
Now i dont have access anymore to it.
 
I have tried:
reboot login as admin.
connect it to a other pc.
tools from the i-net.
 
What i am gonna try:
convert NTFS file system to FAT32 to remove the security level
 
Does anyone had this problem before? :
Yes , okay how did u solve it?
No , can my plan work without losing any data?

If you're still the "owner" of the files/folders, you should be able to select the root of the drive and reset the permissions.
 
PartitionMagic (which was recently bought out by Symantec) is/was the only program that I know of that could successfully convert NTFS->FAT32.
