Hi,
Ever since I reformatted my Buslink 40gb usb hard drive from the original fat32 to ntfs, I have had problems copying files and intermittent non recognition of the drive. I am using a win xp home os. Should I take the usb drive to a different computer running win98se and fdisk, then format it back to fat32 before reattaching it to my win xp machine? Also, can ghost images of my C: drive created on my D: drive for backup, be copied to a usb drive for storage and still be recoverable to restore the C: drive if it crashes? For instance a new C drive is purchased and I want ghost to restore it from the copied images off the USB drive, rather than the ones made by ghost directly to the D drive?
Thank you very much.
