upgrading opinions needed

well im finally going to upgrade my gforce256 32meg but id like some opinions on what to get. im looking to spend up to $130us as i have a tight budget. card must be able to run most new games (i. e ut2003,splinter cell etc etc) nvidia or ati based doesnt matter.

wow look what i started but thanks for all the replies,i did a little more research and i think based on what some said here and what ive read online im gonna go with a radeon 9100 128, i've seen them on pricewatch for 80$us that will get me a decent card and save me some money for beer :x

Well, that's cool. I would have gone for a 9500 Pro myself, as I have read that they can be clocked pretty high and some have even flashed them to be 9700 Pros (why one would do this, I have no idea since a screw up could trash the card). But if you're happy with your selection, then more power to ya.

People likely do it, because if you are doing it, you should know how to do it properly and the satisfaction of paying so little to get a wicked ard - same reason people over clock - more power!!! for free - often, if u do it right.
 
like me, i am getting my WC (water cooling) set up this week - hope i set it up right!
