This is a discussion about USB 2.0 : Adaptec vs Belkin in the Windows Hardware category; both Adaptec and Belkin make 4+ post USB2 PCI cards. In your experience, please only answer if you have such experience first or work related second hand, which one performs better? or which one has any kind of problems? TIA.

I would recommend Adaptec, simply for the probability of longer support lifetime vs. Belkin, who primarily manufactures cables.

Although they probably do use a similar chipset, and most new(er) OS's have native support or patches to add USB 2.0 support, my opinion stays the same.

Belkin AFAIK is overpriced Chinese garbage! Especially their cables!

Belkin is the best IMHO. They are very compatible as their chip uses the Nec chipset and fast too.
