USB Controller is off

This is a discussion about USB Controller is off in the Windows Hardware category; I have a Dell Dimension 9100. Today during normal operations, I got the blue screen failure in windows. After a reboot, the computer would not come up. It was failing at the mup. sys. I think this was due to a conflict with some devices.

I have a Dell Dimension 9100. Today during normal operations, I got the blue screen failure in windows. After a reboot, the computer would not come up. It was failing at the mup.sys. I think this was due to a conflict with some devices. Anyway, during my troubleshooting, I was able to get the computer to boot, but now I think my USB controller is off or disabled. I have no connectivity with my mouse or keyboard. I have no serial connections available, only usb. How the heck do I interface with the computer to turn that controller back on?

Thanks!
