now i get to start a help thread.
my neighbors got a unknown via mobo and a p3
i loaded xp last night and everything runs perfect (though slow)

they have a hp usb photoprinter that installs and everything but when u try to print more than a line the print fails and the printer disconnects.
so if all the docs are 1 line long then he can use the printer

it looks like a buffer over run. but i cant tell for sure and there is no problems as far as xp says

it's an old mobo because it still has 2 isa slots but it does have a 2x agp

any idears?

Were you using HP usb drivers or the native WinXP drivers?
