Usb Scanner.Cd burner permissions
This is a discussion about Usb Scanner.Cd burner permissions in the Everything New Technology category; Please help. I am running Win2000 Pro stand alone. I have a cd rewriter installed running the latest Nero. I also have a usb scanner installed. Both work perfectly when anyone who is in the Administrators group is logged in.
Please help. I am running Win2000 Pro stand alone. I have a cd rewriter installed running the latest Nero. I also have a usb scanner installed. Both work perfectly when anyone who is in the Administrators group is logged in. When anybody else is logged in even power users I have the following problems
cd rewriter is usable for read access but not for writing.
Scanner shows as installed and drivers working properly and no conflicts etc, but says the status of the scanner is unavailable, and therefore cannot scan.
I have looked at permissions and policies but can't find anything to suggest any user can't use these devices.
