User names and passwords in XP

This is a discussion about User names and passwords in XP in the Customization Tweaking category; Can anyone help me? I have windows xp home and Internet Explorer 6. 0. Explorer will not retain the user names or passwords after visiting a site I keep trying different setting but I can't seem to figure this one out.

Tools>internet options>Content tab.
 
Click the "Autocomplete" button
 
Make sure it is enabled there.
