Using exchange over a two way trust
This is a discussion about Using exchange over a two way trust in the Windows Software category; I have 2 domains (lets call them D1 and D2)which are connected by a two-way trust. D1 hosts our exchange enviroment. D2 is newly created for a temporary department. Users in D2 need to have mail accounts setup in D1.
I have 2 domains (lets call them D1 and D2)which are connected by a two-way trust.
D1 hosts our exchange enviroment. D2 is newly created for a temporary department.
Users in D2 need to have mail accounts setup in D1. Here be the problem... How do I do this?
I know I could set up an exchange server in D2 and point it to our SMTP server but this is my last option. I want to keep the number of servers in D2 to a minimum.
Does anyone have any tips? I am stumped
