USR Modem Going way 2 slow!
This is a discussion about USR Modem Going way 2 slow! in the Windows Hardware category; ok i have a USR 3com Message Modem 56k External. in win2k it will read it, install it and connect to the ISP however it wont go beyond 500byte/s and webpages time out. this is the same problem in winME! i have tried win2k's own drivers as recommended by 3com, i have tried NT4 drivers and have tried 3coms win2k drivers.

works fine in win9x and winNT4 just not win2k and winME
