UT and DirectX

This is a discussion about UT and DirectX in the Windows Games category; Ive had the final release of win2k for awhile now and UT has worked like a dream in it. Last night though netmeeting crashed on my system and after a reboot i went to start UT. The game will only play in a window now even though I have the updated nvidia drivers.

Ive had the final release of win2k for awhile now and UT has worked like a dream in it. Last night though netmeeting crashed on my system and after a reboot i went to start UT. The game will only play in a window now even though I have the updated nvidia drivers. Ive reinstalled the game as well as installing both the creative and nvidia refrence drivers with no luck. I think maybe DirectX has been corrupted somehow but I do not know how to reinstall it or fix it
Any ideas would be apreciated

An update to my above problem:

In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool software, tab "Display" Direct3D acceleration and AGP support are both labelled "Not Available"

Im sure this relates to my problem but damned if i know how to fix it beyond a complete reinstall of wink2k

any ideas? anyone?

Do a liitle search on this forum.
A way to reinstall only DX7 on Win2K has been devised by some guys.
The topic was discussed last week I think. Sorry, I've not the time to do the search now.
Hope it helps.
