VBS virus
This is a discussion about VBS virus in the Everything New Technology category; Hi, Recently, I went to a website that had a popup and ends up its not a good one. I think it ended up downloading a VBS virus onto my computer. Luckily, my McAfee caught it but it couldn't delete it.

Recently, I went to a website that had a popup and ends up its not a good one. I think it ended up downloading a VBS virus onto my computer. Luckily, my McAfee caught it but it couldn't delete it. So before, I did a scan of my computer, I first emptied the cache and then I started the scan. Now the scan found nothing of that VBS virus that was detected eariler. I also did a file search for vbs and it didn't find anything.
Could this mean that the vbs file is hidden, or it downloaded itself into the cache and I already deleted it?
